Envisioning Workshop

 

BEST For Energy (Boosting Effective and Sustainable Transformation for Energy) Project aims to bring together innovation ecosystem players in Izmir and its hinterland to realize innovative projects by achieving R&D and innovation ideas in the field of clean energy within the scope of Detailed Industry Capability Analysis.

 

With the “Envisioning Workshop” planned to be organized within this scope, it is aimed to encourage partnerships for competencies covering the entire clean energy and clean technology sector in a wide and interdisciplinary range. Within the framework of the event; project ideas on topics such as energy generation and storage, development of technologies and services for clean energy management and operation, clean energy applications software solutions, decarbonization technologies will be discussed, and networking for potential partnerships and international funding sources will be detailed.

 

Who can attend:

•private sector (start-ups, SMEs or large enterprises)

•universities or research institutions

•municipalities, associations and federations, public institutions and organizations,

•non-governmental organizations, clusters and excellency centers and all other R&D, entrepreneurship ecosystem stakeholders 

 

It is aimed that the attendants would have the following gains at the end of the Event: 

•knowledge on access in national-international R&D financing,

•involvement in a national-international network of companies that include key industry players,

•guidance on development of projects and access in the relevant funding sources.

 

Pursuant to the scope of the event, a working session will be held where project ideas will be discussed on the relevant renewable energy topics. This session is intended to discuss project ideas on the relevant fields and to help project partners further improve and develop their innovative ideas/technology/products/services. The event will be held online on October 11, 2021.
