Competitive Sectors Programme, Annual Promotion Event - BEST For Energy
Significance of the BEST For Energy Project with regards to the EU Green Deal was presented within the Competitive Sectors Programme - Publicity Event
The Competitive Sectors Programme is carried out by the Ministry of Industry and Technology under the financial cooperation between the Republic of Turkey and the European Union. The publicity event of the Competitive Sectors Programme, “Impact and Beyond” was held on March, 15-16, 2021 in Ankara. The projects supported within the scope of the Competitive Sectors Programme were introduced with their contribution to the EU-Turkey Industrial policies. The event also hosted panels on “Research & Development” “Energy & Green Deal” and “Creative Industries” themes.
Participating the event on behalf of the "BEST For Energy" Project carried out by the Izmir Development Agency (İZKA) in partnership with the Energy Industrialists and Businessmen Association (ENSİA), Ms. Hülya Ulusoy Sungur made two presentations in which she shared the purpose, activities and outputs of the project.
Ms. Ulusoy Sungur stated that identical with the aims of the Competitive Sectors Programme, namely the concept of increasing the competitiveness levels of the Turkish SMEs and entrepreneurs, BEST For Energy Project is aiming to develop a competitive cluster within the clean energy and clean technology sector through smart specialization approach. She added that, with the transformation in the clean energy and clean technology sector in İzmir/TURKEY, BEST For Energy Project was going to be one of the most important projects that will contribute to the EU Green Deal.
